The Studio

Under the mentorship of Masood Parvez, the studio director who specializes in portraiture, a team of 15 talented female artists produce research-oriented paintings about foreign civilizations. The Studio has successfully held several shows, including:

"The Painted Legends" - an exhibition of terra cotta pots and plates painted in the ancient Greek style depicting scenes from Greek mythology, inaugurated by HE The Ambassador of Greece, and the Honorable Minister for Culture Mr. S.K. Tressler, Government of Pakistan.

"The Tall Ships"- an exhibition of oil paintings depicting famous sailing ships which played important role in the maritime history of the world ; inaugurated and highly commended by Admiral Shahid Karimullah, the Chief of the Naval Staff, Pakistan Navy.

"Treasures of the Gulf"- the latest project, is the Studio's most extensive production based on 52 large oil paintings, depicting the cultural heritage of the Arabian Gulf. This effort, unprecedented in its size and scope, has been made to honor His Highness Sheikh Zaid Bin Sultan Al Nahyan's wishes to cope with the rapidly changing lifestyles of the younger Arab generation.
